Morwenna Goodliffe and Sadie
Morwenna and Sadie hail from Busby, Alberta. A few years ago, Sadie
was given to the Goodliffes as a "problem pony". This
12-hh, unregistered, Welsh Section A problem pony has turned out
to be not a problem at all. Trained by Morwenna herself, who is
a ten-year Pony Club member, the two have competed in three National
Prince Phillip Games (PPGs), with their team, 'The Mohicans'. The
Mohicans have won their Prairie Zone competition for the past three
years, and placed first in the National Prince Philip Games in 2003.
Morewenna and Sadie have also competed in 2'6" jumpers and
Pony Club Regional competitions. Last September, Sadie represented
Section A's as a Welsh demo pony at the Spruce Meadows Masters weekend
in Calgary, AB.
Morwenna's mother Jane says that,"Sadie is quite a character.
She's a typical pony; she plays games and does a little kick out
which the crowd gets a kick out of."
