Six Warmblood Horse Sales Planned Across Canada in 2005

Ottawa, Ontario---The Breeds & Industry Division of Equine Canada is pleased to announce that six warmblood horse sales will be taking place across Canada this year. With many individuals taking advantage of the opportunity to do their horse shopping at one location, organized warmblood sales are flourishing in Canada.

“I think Canada has the opportunity to become another warmblood horse auction Mecca along the lines of a country like Germany,” noted Breeds & Industry Division Council member Chris Gould. “We have demonstrated expertise in presenting well-run European style sales with high quality horses, but most importantly our breeders understand the economics of the business and are prepared to sell at reasonable prices.”

Each auction will offer professional, one-stop-shopping to the buyer looking to purchase some of the best horses bred in Canada. The sale locations include:
