Hi everyone!

In June of this year I had the incredible opportunity to go to the American Horse Publication association's 2005 conference, Horse by Northwest, in Seattle. I won second place in the Student Award contest, which included an all expense paid trip to the conference. It was an incredible experience and I met a lot of very nice people who work hard to bring you your horse magazines.

I also want to really apologize for being so late getting this issue out. I'm heading to Calgary on a practicum next month, to finish my degree from the U of A. After that I will be moving back to Saskatoon. So last week we did a trip with the horse (he's on vacation for a month, he wasn't at all disappointed) and then came right back and took the furniture. In between I've been trying to finish this issue of Sport Pony!! And this is just a huge issue, it gets bigger all the time.

Hope to see everyone at Spruce Meadows next month - we will hopefully have some kind of representation at the Canadian Warmblood/Sport Horse booths, so please stop in and say hi!
