First Ontario Open Sport Pony Line Show held on June 5th

Rosedale Top Cat, Grand Champion Open Pony

Fox Run Horse Products has offered open line sport pony classes along with the open Sport horse line classes. The first show was held Sunday June 5th at Dieter Werner’s Festival of the Horse Show in Ancaster, Ontario . All pony and horse line classes were well attended with 54 entries in total . We were pleased to have Kenneth Hodges judge both the pony and horse classes that day so that we had a good evaluation of our sport ponies.

The Grand Champion was Rosedale Top Cat, an ASPR approved stallion owned by Morton stables. The Reserve Champion was Paradox, a 4-year-old mare by President owned by Shara Pavan.

There will be two additional shows in the Triple Crown series that are offering open sport pony classes. The next show is July 31 at Executive Stables and the final show will be October 29th at Twinholm Stables. (Editor's note: See the Events page for more details.)

This is an excellent opportunity to show our young ponies and the sport pony breeders in Ontario would like to thank everyone involved with these shows.
