Chelsea and Rory powered to first place in the Jeopardy Jumping, beating out Team Trakhener and Thoroughbred among others. Both have a strong jumping history - Chelsea has been riding since she was ten and has been showing jumpers for about ten years now. She has competed successfully throughout BC, Alberta, Manitoba, California and Washington, and has ridden professionally since 1992.
   Rory, a bay Connemara stallion, started his show career two years ago in the hunter divisions. He moved to jumpers the following year and finished this year in the 3'6" jumpers. He has also competed at three-day events and is an approved American Sport Pony.

Rider Tracy Dopko of Daventry Farms mainly competes in hunter/jumper classes with ponies. Eden's Winston is a home-bred pony, trained to drive by Terry Francis of Athabasca. This is the fifth year he has been on the Connemara team at Spruce Meadows.

Hillside Sassafrass and Brian Morton
8-year-old dun mare, Connemara - 15hh

Hillside Sassafras is an 8 year old registered purebred dun Connemara mare. She stands 15 hands. Sassafras is an extremely talented jumper. This year she won a 3ft6 jumper class at Spruce Meadows, a 4 ft jumper class at Northlands in Edmonton and a 4ft.3 futures jumper class at the Thunderbird Show Park in Langley,BC. She is owned by M and M Connemaras of Langley, Alberta and ridden by Brian Morton.

Brian is an 18 year old junior amateur rider who excels in show-jumping, dressage and eventing. He has also represented the Vancouver Pony Club in London, England, and played polo lacrosse for the Canadian Polo Lacross team in Australia.

Traa-Dylioar Mick and Emily Cena

Emily Cena is from Westlock, AB. Mick is a halfbred Connemara by Lynfields Cormac MacCarthy. This was their 4th time on the team.
